«La Maison du Lieutenant Baillival»
This one-time patrician residence was built in 1558 using cut stones from the old monastery. The Bernese influence can be seen in its high roof. The murals and stained-glass windows are not to be found anywhere else in the region. Formerly a historic hotel, Lieutenant Baillival’s House became a family home again in 2011.
