Switzerland's Cluniac trails

AEVF

This cultural hiking route links Cluniac sites in Switzerland and France, following in the footsteps of the stonemasons of yesteryear. It offers visitors the chance to explore and admire the abundant landscape and cultural heritage in the regions it crosses.

In Switzerland

The Cluniac trails are made up of 11 routes on marked footpaths. Starting from Bassins, they go along the foot of the Jura Vaudois mountains via Romainmôtier and continue alongside Lake Neuchâtel before reaching St. Peter’s Island in Lake Biel. They cross the Swiss plateau via Payerne and climb up to the Alpine foothills to reach Rougemont in the Pays d’En-haut.
